Ward's Reservoir and Lead Mines Clough

6.45-7.30am - Ward's reservoir: same as Len, curlew (heard), c sandpiper (2), gropper reeling, willow warbler, stonechat (m). Also 8 moribund toads on Belmont Rd :(
7.45-9.30am - Lead Mines Clough: curlew over, grey & pied wagtail, redstart (m & f), treecreeper, chiffchaff, willow warbler, gr-bl-coal tit, redpoll (3).

Common sandpiper, grasshopper warbler & redstart take Chorley species total for the year to 119.
