Brief visit to Yarrow Reservoir just before dark
Goosander 6. Mallard 3. Grey Wagtail. Curlew.

Several Snipe heard drumming overhead after dark at Wards Reservoir whilst we were doing the toad patrol

Might get up there tomorrow evening, weather permitting. Never heard a drumming snipe. Could even hear the first gropper of the year!

Belmont Reservoir at dusk is a good place to watch Snipe displaying/drumming.

2 snip were drumming last night at Belmont. Why not come along this week and listen to them, you can also rescue some toads at the same time
