Eyes Lane flooded fields. 9.30am.

2 Mute Swans. 5 Canada Geese. Moorhens. Mallard. 2 Teal. 15 Shelduck. Lots Lapwing. 1 G.B.B.Gull. 1 Herring Gull. Lots Blk.H.Gulls. 2 Oystercatcher. 5 Pintail. 10 Pied Wagtail. 1 Redshank. 2 B.T.Godwits.
Blackbirds. Chaffinch. Pheasant. Skylark. Yellowhammer. G.s.Woodpecker (drumming in the distance)' Grey Heron. Meadow Pipit. Treecreeper. Buzzard. Woodpigeon. Jackdaws. Kestrel . Reed Bunting.

Meadow pipit.Shelduck. Herring Gull.Gt.B.B.Gull. Oystercatcher. Pintail. B.T.Godwit. Redshank. 8new ticks.brings my total to 75 species.

Some numbers from this morning:-

Buzzard 3, Kestrel, Oystercatcher 5, Lapwing c90 plus 30 across river, BT Godwit 2, Redshank 1, BH Gull 125 + 30 across river, Fieldfare 80, Starling c200, Tree Sparrow 2, Greenfinch
Wigeon 4 on river seen by another birder (John Edwards!)
Tree Sparrow takes me to 86

Probable ringed plover which flew in calling but did a u turn heading back west .
