Eyes Lane, Bretherton - 08:40 to 09:10

Birds seen/heard - Approx 50 Lapwing on the flood with a further 30 in the field to the west of the River Douglas. 1 Redshank, 2 Oystercatcher, 80+ Black Headed Gull, 1 Moorhen, Mallard, 6 Teal, Carrion Crow, Pheasant, Woodpigeon, Skylark, Chaffinch, Goldfinch Yellowhammer.

Adlington Reservoir - approx 8 Teal and 2 Moorhen on the nature reserve, 1 Cormorant and 2 Moorhen on Adlington reservoir, 2 Willow Tit heard, Great Spotted Woodpecker heard, Coal Tit, Robin. Curlew heard on east side of reservoir. 2 Yellowhammer singing & 2 Common Buzzard on west side (GMC area).

Song Thrush on verge of Wheelton bypass near David Loyd Gym and another on Gillibrands link road at junction with the new roundabout at Butterworth Brow - which seemed to be picking up grit? from the footpath.

2 Common Buzzard over Duxbury Golf Course.

Chorley cemetery - Nuthach singing, Woodpigeon, Carrion Crow, Blackbird, Magpie, Coal Tit, Blue Tit.
The only fungi was the remains of an Oyster Mushroom on the stump of a dead tree.
