5.00-6.45pm on the river/bank - teal (20), mallard, mute swan, oystercatcher (9), redshank (2); on the Finney - good numbers of lapwing in song & displaying, starling flocks, flushed 2 grey partridge, buzzard (2), kestrel and finally at 6.10 a barn owl flying close across High Lane, before descending into rough grass and not reappearing.
