Bretherton eyes floods .

31 shelduck , 5 lapwing , small numbers of canada geese , plenty of bh gulls , plenty of mallard , 2 teal , 1 moorhen on the river , 1 g bb gull flying over , 2 goosander , 2 buzzard , 2 kestrel , skylarks , meadow pipit , song thrush , pied wagtail , blackbird , large flock of starlings with some fieldfares , golfinch , cormorant , small numbers of pinkfoot .
Gbb gull brings my list up to 83 species .

Shelduck numbers were up to 50 this afternoon, otherwise sightings were similar to Gary's apart from a Peregrine pestering 2 Buzzards and a Great Spotted Woodpecker.

Flying visit this afternoon, Shelduck numbers up to 59, also 13 Lapwing on the flood
