Peregrine 1
Buzzard 4
Otherwise very quiet so transferred to Croston Finney

Croston Finney
Decided to try and locate the Lapwing flock to check for any additional waders.

Found the flock of c100 but turned out nothing extra. This was made easier after the flock took to the air shortly after I spotted a female * Merlin in the first tree on Finney Lane !! The Merlin then took flight as I approached and disturbed the Lapwings. It carried on at speed low back towards the finch hedge before rising and then diving into the finch flock (which contained 150 Linnets, at least one Brambling and several Chaffinch, Goldfinch and Greenfinch before the attack).

Also 2 male Kestrels.

A lucky sight with the * Merlin :D takes me to 84 species.
