A bit quiet over the last couple of days with only a handful of Fieldfare and 20+ Redwing today, new sightings to add to my Chorley list are Gt. Black Backed Gull, Reed Bunting, Bullfinch, Sparrowhawk (female) and Grey Wagtail bringing my Chorley list to 45.

A Jack Snipe was flushed at the Lilly pond it flew a couple of yards then disappeared into the vegetation again. 2 Mute Swans flew over heading towards Croston Moss, a Coot was back at the pond where they normally breed. 7 Yellowhammers were at the smallholding along with Goldfinches, Chaffinches, Greenfinches and c15 Redwings.
Jack Snipe, Coot and Mute Swan bring my Chorley list to 48.
