Whittle bottoms .
No woodcock sightings this evening (4.20/4.450pm ) although there was still natural light with the moon , i moved my position for a better view and found myself in the middle of a large magpie roost 50+ birds , several pheasant going to roost , several mallard , heard a tawny owl .
