Croston/mawdesley moss .
1000+ pinkfoot and w/pigeon , 200 skylark , 4 snipe , 30+ whoopers , 20+ corn bunting , reed buntings and yellowhammers in smaller numbers , 1 teal , 1 goosander , buzzard feeding on dead pinkfoot , 1 kestrel , 2 peregrine fighting ( male and female ) male bird won the contest .
