Chorley Cemetery:
Birds seen/heard Carrion Crow, Magpie, Woodpigeon, Nuthatch heard, Goldfinch, Blue Tit, Great Tit, Blackbird.
Mammals - at least 4 Grey Squirrel
Fungi: The frost has seen off most fungi, but there were some recently emerged Common Funnel and new in this week were some Aniseed Funnel.
Great Knowley:
Kestrel yesterday being pursued by a Carrion Crow and 3 Common Buzzard today.
On my way back from Worthington Lakes this morning I saw a female Goshawk as it flew in front of me across Wigan Lane, near to where Eller Beck crosses under the road; a lifer for me and in my old birding haunts too.
Goshawk takes my species score to 137.

Glad to see the goshawk is still in the aggy/Coppull area first seen 5th nov chasing woodies over fields past private pond on sandy lane aggy my old stomping grounds as a kid good to go back regularly.
