Should've been hiking in the Lake District today but after a look at the weather forecast we decided to stick to the local area, Anglezarke Moors were a winter wonderland, but completely devoid of birds apart from 2 Kestrel and a Stonechat at Horden Stoops.
Other sightings.

Rivington Arboretum. Long Tailed Tit c15. Goldfinch c20. Bullfinch 2. Jay 2.

Yarrow Reservoir. Several Mallard. Goosander 4. Buzzard. Bullfinch 4. Siskin. Another flock of Long Tailed Tits.

Anglezarke Reservoir. Mallard c30. Goosander 2. Black Headed Gull c50. Lesser Black Backed Gull. Fieldfare 2. Kestrel. Yet another flock of Long Tailed Tits

High Bullough Reservoir. Mallard 3. Tufted Duck 17. Goldeneye (male) Treecreeper. Goldcrest 2.

White Coppice. Grey Wagtail. Dipper 2 on the Goit. Song Thrush. Mistle Thrush. Mute Swan 2 on no 5 lodge
