It wasn't our best ever visit Gary. Although we avoided the showers, there was a brisk wind which kept the small stuff down. The Fylde Bird Club hide was locked, and for some reason the feeding station wasn't stocked and apparently the visitor centre doesn't open at weekends.
For the record we saw / heard the following:-
Mute Swan, Greylag Goose, Mallard, Wigeon, Teal, Gadwall, Shoveler, Tufted Duck, Coot, Moorhen, Water Rail, Cormorant, Pheasant, Kestrel, BH Gull, Common Gull, Herring Gull, LBB Gull, GBB Gull, Woodpigeon, Meadow Pipit, Mistle Thrush, Fieldfare, Redwing, Blackbird, Magpie, Jackdaw, Crow, Robin, Wren, Dunnock, Stonechat, Cetti's Warbler, LTT Tit, Great Tit, Starling, House Sparrow, Goldfinch, Greenfinch, Linnet
