A chilly start first thing having a walk around the plantations in hope of some rarer finches no luck though birds spotted /heard , siskin , chaffinches , bullfinch , goldfinch , blackbirds , 20 fieldfare , 3 redwing , wrens , blue , great and coal tits , goldcrest , large flocks of gulls , 60 pinkfoot flew over winter hill just before 8.00am , 2 pheasants , crows , 2 jays .
