Anglezarke Reservoir

Did a quick tour of the reservoir to see if anything had been blown in, but no luck on that score. The island is fast disappearing under water with not much visible above the surface. It was amusing to see all the Cormorants trying to get on it. Of the 12 present, 11 managed to get on before they all fell off. The only other birds on the water were a large distant flock of 70 Mallard, and around 100 Black-headed Gulls.
