Withnell fold flashes .
Single ruff still present amongst the mallard , 250 lapwing on the cow field , mallards and teal numbers down , around 10 snipe spotted ( no doubt plenty more hiding ) , 1 hare , along the canal yet another kingfisher sighting , 3 goldcrest , 1 nuthatch , 2 song thrushes looked fresh in .
