Heard nestlings calling to parents flying nearby this am.Also saw at least one poking head out of nest.The heavy rain recently hasn't washed their droppings off my bay roof! Is it likely it/they can fledge so late in year?

Yes. We've had fledged birds on my estate right up to the end of September, with birds feeding up before migrating into October.
