I have had 3 or 4 red admirals, 3 large whites, 1 or 2 small tortoiseshells and 2 peacocks most days lately on our buddleias, but went to Martin Mere wwt at weekend and there must have been over 500 red admirals on the reserve, every patch of valerian was smothered with them
