Withnell Fold flashes and canal.

Teal and Snipe were back at the flashes and the Canada Geese have disappeared. Other than that it was much the same as last time:-
Mallard (female and 7 well grown young, Teal 2, Moorhen (ad + juve), Buzzard (2 or 3 sightings), Kestrel, Sparrowhawk, Red-legged Partridge 4 + 1 young, Lapwing 90, Snipe 3, Stock Dove 3, Woodpigeon, Little Owl, Kingfisher, Swallow (sev), House Martin (sev), Chiffchaff, Nuthatch, Jackdaw / Rook / Crow (c400), Magpie, Starling 150, Meadow Pipit, Pied Wagtail, Goldfinch, Reed Bunting
Mammal:- Brown Hare
Insects:- Brown Hawker, GV White, Large White
