Hobby and Peregrines

Thursday 3 August, St John's Church, Preston Road, Whittle.
Heard a huge commotion and looked up to see a couple of Peregrines wheeling around and noticed the object of their disquiet - a male Hobby chasing House Martins. The Peregrines tried their level best to disturb the Hobby but it totally outclassed them in its aerobatic skills - very entertaining!
