White Coppice
Couple of hours at WC before the rain came. The first birds I came across was a couple of Spotted Flycatchers taking food into a nest to feed their young. Also seen. Lots of Willow Warblers, mostly young. Stonechats flitting around with juveniles. juvenile Robin. Goldfinch. Swallows. A group of Ravens. Mallards. Coots. Moorhens. Blackbirds and a pair of Nuthatch going in and out of a tree hole.

Re: White Coppice
Nice photos Peter.
Tonight at White Coppice I saw 3 juvenile Stonechat, 4 Willow Warbler, 1 Kestrel, 10+ Swallow on the wires on the way and 10+ hirundines, mostly House Martin over Stronstey Bank, 2 + Jay, Carrion Crow, Jackdaw, Woodpigeon, Blue Tit, Wren, Long Tailed Tit and Dipper.
Also 2 Rabbits near the cricket field and 1 Pipistrelle Bat out in full daylight at 8.30 feeding along the trees next to the Goit.
Fungi - small group of Vermillion Waxcap and a large group of boletes under an oak tree, difficult to identify but possibly Xerocomus cisalpinus.
