Marsh Woundwort,Broad leaved ,rose bay and great willow herb,hemp agrinomy,dock,common sorrel,hogweed,red campion,h.balsam,bramble,wood avens,hedge woundwort,stinging nettles,black knapweed,red clover,agrinomy,imperforate St.Johns Wort,ragwort,birdsfoot trefoil,meadow sweet,tufted vetch,marsh thistle,purple loosestrife,lesser spearwort,scullcap(fr),ladies bedstraw,cat's ear,wild carrot,creeping and meadow buttercup,meadow vetchling,red bartsia,yellow rattle,bind weed,hoary ragwort,melilot,phragmites reed,reed canary grass,reed mace,creeping thistle,zig-zag clover,white clover,hop trefoil,meadow buttercup,greater birdsfoot trefoil,silverweed,goatsbeard,angelica,hairy tare,square stemed St.John's wort,cleavers,self heal,ribwort and greater plantain,yellow flag(fr),Brooklime(not fl)

Other taxa;-
Birds (including Big Lodge):- pair Mute Swan + 6 young, pair G.C. Grebe + 1 young, Grey Heron (on tern raft), Kestrel, Woodpigeon, LBB Gull, GS Pecker, Swift (several), House Martin (several), Swallow, Song Thrush singing, Grasshopper Warbler reeling briefly, Blackcap, Chiffchaff, Jay, Magpie, Greenfinch, Goldfinch
Insects:- Gatekeeper, Meadow Brown, Smoky Wainscott
Amphibians:- a few froglets

There was also a report of a "mouse" by some walkers we passed. I suspect it was most probably a bank vole. In addition to the above flowers, I noted marsh willowherb.
