Tincklers Lane to St Marys Eccleston
5 juvenile Mandarin on the River also 17 Mallard and 3 Moorhen, a total of 28 Canada Geese 10 at one pond and 18 at another. 2 Kestrels flying over the fields were the first I've seen in a while, the old derelict farmhouse where they usually nest has been rebuilt and now has a new roof on half of it, stock doves used to nest here as well and occasionally a barn owl would be seen. Still a few Chiffchaffs and Whitethroats singing and a Blackcap was also heard today. A Garden Warbler landed a couple of yards away from me yesterday giving great views but flew as soon as I started to get my camera out. 3 Hares, Squirrel and a few Rabbits seen today with Fox and Roe Deer seen last week.
