Heard just the one Quail at 6.15pm calling from a wheat field about half way down from the moss lane end the field was on the left hand side also spotted / heard 8 yellowhammer , several reed bunting , 1 whitethroat , chaffinch , wren , lt tits , 3 skylark , 2 buzzard , 1 shelduck flew over , thanks for the info Ian and John , Quail brings the chorley year list up to 135 species .
