Croston/mawdesley moss strange willow warbler song .

Pair of mute swan on the douglas , at least 6 whitethroat ,5 reed bunting , 4 yellowhammer , 3 corn bunting , linnet , goldfinch , swallows and house martins , small numbers of lapwing , 3 skylark , kestrel , 2 buzzard , 2 robin , blackbird , song thrush , moorhen and mallard with young on the drainage dtches , several lbb gulls , 60 rook , 5 hare , had an encounter with what i thought was a singing willow warbler the song started with a willow warbler type song but ended up with several chiffchaff type notes had me thinking iberian or siberian type chiffchaff .

I once had a bird at Withnell Fold which started singing Willow Warbler and changed to Chiffchaff half way through. Maybe it was hedging its bets! :D
