Highlight of my late visit BBS was a pair of Spotted Flycatchers. Lowlight was a complete absence of Oystercatcher, Lapwing and Curlew, all of which have been present in previous years. Sightings:- Mallard, Moorhen with 2 chicks, Buzzard, Pheasant, BH Gull, LBB Gull, GS Pecker 2, Pied Wagtail, Swift, Swallow, House Martin, Mistle Thrush, Song Thrush, Blackbird, Robin, Wren, Dunnock, Spotted Flycatcher 2, Chiffchaff 4, Blackcap 2, Whitethroat, Blue, Great and LT Tit all with young, Nuthatch with young, Treecreeper, Goldcrest, Magpie, Jackdaw, Crow, Starling, House Sparrow, Chaffinch, Greenfinch with young, Goldfinch
Mammals:- Grey Squirrel 6, Brown Hare
Butterflies:- Painted Lady, Speckled Wood
