Morning stroll. 10.00-12.30.

Eyes Lane. Sedge Warbler 2. Whitethroat 5. Yellowhammer. Reed Bunting. Linnet 3. Chaffinch. Goldfinch. Red Legged Partridge. Moorhen 4. Lapwing 5. Buzzard 2. Swallow.

River Douglas. Female Goosander with 7 good sized youngsters​ at the confluence with the Yarrow, and another female with 5 small ducklings was upstream close to Bank Hall. Several Mallard. Shelduck 2 overhead. Canada Geese 20 overhead. Reed Warbler 2, one carrying food.

The canal to Lock Lane had Reed Warbler c14. Sedge Warbler. Several Reed Bunting. Swallow. House Martin 2. Skylark. Pair of Mute Swan with 7 cygnets. Mallard with ducklings. Kingfisher.

Butterflies. Speckled Wood. Red Admiral 4. Painted Lady, 5 by the canal and a Wall Brown on Eyes Lane, near Red Bridge farm.
