Anglezarke ,white coppice, heather lea woods .

Finally caught up with the spotted flycatchers with 2 present in the wooded area near to watermans .
White coppice , missed out on the little owl yet again , reed bunting and whitethroat along the goit , 2 jays , meadow pipits , male bullfinch , song thrushes , willow warblers , blackbirds , mistle thrush , kestrel , swifts , swallows , 2 dippers in flight over black brook , cuckoo only started singing at 9.00pm .
Heather lea woods , wood warbler , redstart ,gs pecker feeding young , possible green woodpecker heard briefly .
Mammals , at least 4 grey squirrel and 1 buck roe deer .
Spotted flycatcher brings the chorley list up to 131 species .

I have tried to get a shot of the Spotted Flycatchers a couple of times this week but no luck as yet, many thanks for the info Gary.
