Croston/mawdesley moss .

Post by gary lilley »

Common sandpiper on the river ( thought they would have moved on by now ) , several reed bunting and yellowhammer , 1 corn bunting singing next to great close field , no sign of any wheatear , 2 shelduck , whitethroats , chiffchaff , willow warbler , 2 sedge warblers singing on the rough field next to railway line ( one giving great views , sadly this land has just gone up for sale which could end up with the loss of a lot of wildlife ) , plenty of lapwing ( found one egg shell ) herring , l bb and bh gulls , the pale carrion crow is still knocking about , linnet , goldfinch , few malard , 2 moorhen .
