Roddlesworth/ Belmont Reservoir

Roddlesworth - 3.30-5.00. Willow Warbler. Chiffchaff. Blackcap. Song Thrush 2. Blackbird. Robin. Wren. Long Tailed Tit. Great Tit. Blue Tit. Greenfinch. Chaffinch. Swallow. House Martin. Jay. Jackdaw. Mallard. Pied Wagtail.

Belmont Reservoir. 5-00-6.00. sightings pretty much the same as John and Lens earlier today, although there was no sign of the Ring Plovers. The Barnacle Goose was still present as were 4 Dunlin and 2 Redshank on the small pond. Oystercatcher 3. Curlew 2. Great Crested Grebe 5 and several Moorhen chicks on the island.

Barnacle Goose takes my score to 108

Very nice captures Len, especially the ringed plover, delightful little birds !!

Stopped off at Belmont Reservoir on my way home from work this afternoon (and got absolutely soaked!)

Ringed Plover 5. Dunlin 5. Redshank. Common Sandpiper.

Ringed Plover takes my score to 109
