Raining throughout so I was a little surprised to see a female Whinchat out in the open perched on a post where it stayed while I took some photos. Not a lot else seen in the rain apart from 2 Coot with 2 chicks, 5 Lapwing, I counted 5 Lapwing chicks on Thursday all fairly well grown, 3 Oystercatchers, 2 Whitethroat, 2 Canada Geese, 2 Willow Warbler, 3 Chiffchaff and 2 Moorhens.
