Goosanders .
Report of a goosander with 10 small young on the yarrow a couple of days ago ( info dave banks ) and a whimbrel over the village yesterday .

River ribble 8 am , difficult to count but 22 goosander chicks. Near to Brockholes NR , also 5 little egrets .
