Garden birds.
Good to see the first juv house sparrow being fed this morning and also found other signs of breeding with blackbird , robin and woodpigeon egg shells being found in the last couple of days .

Last week ,we were watching our resident pr of Blackbirds feeding young in our apple tree.which was lovely .the day after the young was dead on our lawn.think it was next doors cat,

A pair of Starling has nested in our eaves. Also Dunnock and Blackbird eggshells in the garden

Our 2 baby blackbirds that surprised us with their appearance last month have survived our neighbours cats and are now fully grown and the adults have been chasing them away as they set up home for brood 2 already! House Martins starting to nest build on the estate as well. Numbers do seem down still though on previous years. Hopefully still some to arrive...

2 Starlings nests under eaves. 1 at front of house and 1 at back.
Blue Tits in bird box and Coal Tits in brickwork hole by front door,
