lower burgh meadow early am

A wander about on lower burgh meadow this morning 05.30 to 0700 produced 2 singing male sedge warblers. 2 reeling groppers one of which was wearing a ring. 4 singing willow warblers 2 singing blackcap . 1 singing whitetroat . And numerous reedbuntings of which 3 nests with eggs were found. Allso resident birds in song inc blackbird song thrush robin wren dunnock and a very close encounter with a roe deer female down to thirty feet before she realised I was sat in the grass in front of her before she turned and went on her way. 07.20 3 common terns on tern raft one wearing a ring
