Croston / bretherton .

Post by gary lilley »

Twin lakes / sewage work , 1 common tern on the second lake ( sat on the blue buoy ) several g c grebes , lots of hirindines around the sewage works , plenty of pied wagtail and 2 white wagtails on the freshly drilled fields .
Reedbed , 2 sedge warbler still singing , sure i heard a willow tit calling near to the railway .
E shaped ponds , willow warbler , blackcap , chiffchaff , 4 snipe , the group of horses are back on this side which is not good news for the reedbed :( .
Common tern brings my chorley year list up to 120 species .
