Quick call in this morning about 8am.

The interesting negative news is that the Whoopers seem to have finally departed for colder pastures.

Redshank 2 (1 displaying) in sprayed field near canal
Gulls 50-75 evenly split BH and LBB with odd Herring
Shelduck 4
Oystercatcher 2
Canada Goose 2
Lapwing 25
Red-legged Partridge 2
Mute Swan 5

There were 3 Whoopers in the usual place later this morning, John. Also Chiffchaff singing which takes me to 96. Other birds in addition to your sightings were Cormorant, Coot, Sparrowhawk, Fieldfare 20, Tree Sparrow, Siskin 4, Greenfinch
