Did a similar walk this morning (Sun), once again no sign of any migrants - GC grebe, BH and LBB gulls, mallard, Canada goose, kestrel, kingfisher (heard in the Goit), single lapwing, crow, magpie, meadow pipit, skylark, song thrush, blackbird, fieldfare, robin, wren, woodpigeon, curlew (heard), LT - Gr - Bl tits, pheasant (heard), chaffinch, pied wagtail and, best of all, a pair of stonechats (m & f) at the quarry. Nice to see Nora and Tommy, just as the weather broke.
