Arley Nature Reserve

Reserve:- Mandarin Duck 3, Teal 5, Pheasant, Kingfisher, GS Pecker 2, Song Thrush, Mistle Thrush, Willow Tit, LT Tit, Nuthatch, Treecreeper, Goldcrest, Jay
Adlington Reservoir:- Cormorant 3, Mallard 3, Moorhen 2, Grey Wagtail 2, Siskin
Adjacent fields:- Lapwing, Curlew, Skylark, Pied Wagtail, Fieldfare min 100, Goldfinch, Chaffinch, Yellowhammer

Mandarin takes me to 92

8 to 9am.

Adlington reservoir
Cormorant 7
Canada Goose 2

Arley Nature reserve
*Mandarin 1m plus possibly a female but couldn't get a proper view
Teal 3
Grey Heron 2
Kingfisher 2
Great Spotted Woodpecker 1 drumming

Fallow deer 4
Brown Hare 2

* Mandarin takes me to 98 for the year.

10:15 to 11:15 - 1 Cormorant & 1 Great Crested Grebe on Adlington Reservoir. A Jay, Magpie, 1 Kingfisher, 2 Willow Tit (1 seen & another heard), 1 Coal Tit, 2 Blue Tit, 1 Great Tit, 2 Robin on the nature reserve side, 1 Nuthatch heard. (no ducks seen!). 1 Curlew heard in fields to the east.

Possible LSW alarm call heard.

Willow Tit takes my Chorley Nats Area total to 97.

I did forget 2 Curlew in fields to East.
