Floods , small numbers of mallard , 2 shellduck , hundreds of bh gulls with a few larger gulls present , around 150 lapwing , 2/300 starlings , a female sparrowhawk ( large bird ) went zipping over the large ploughed field flushing several snipe , skylark and around 40 lapwing , the majority of the birds were near to the lostock .
Finney , 2 buzzard , 2 kestrel , plenty of chaffinch in the double hedgerow , flushed 12 grey partridge finches and buntings from a set aside field , around 200 lapwing flew over heading towards the flood water at bretherton , 1 hare .
