Took a walk up the Clough to try and find a brambling for the first time this year after Leonard's spot earlier. No joy there, but there were plenty of goldcrests, bullfinch, jay, crow, robin, chaffinch, blue tit, treecreeper and a half a dozen reed buntings and a possible flushed snipe on the far side of the dead pine plantation.
