Balsam Bashing

Post by Eddie Langrish »

Hi All,
Lower Burgh Meadow conservation group had a work day Sunday 26th July, until 12 mid day when the rains came.

As suggested by a comment from a reply in the general comments section about Plock Wood, ( please see Comments page relating to Plock Wood for full story ).

The group is returning to Plock Wood this coming Wednesday & Thursday Evening to clear Balsam from other areas.
If you wish to come and give us a lift, please be at the Tip kissing gate at 6pm on either evening. and have your arms and legs covered. ( and the rest of you to  )

Please let me know if you are attending, then I can send you the risk assessment. re health & Safety etc.

It great to clear balsam, and see the natural flora/habitat return.

If its OK with your Moderators, if I can think on, I will post a short reminder of our coming work days on recent sightings,

Cheers Eddie
