while looking for the tree pipit i heard what i thought was a green woodpecker but seconds later i spotted a cuckoo in flight which got me thinking id heard the bubbling call of the female cuckoo (never heard it before ) also spotted a peregrine chasing a pigeon , dipper in flight with a beak full of food , grey wagtail and pied wagtail on the cricket field .White Coppice.

White Coppice.

Re: White Coppice.
The weather today and yesterday (Sat) was quite windy up at White Coppice and the pipit seems to have been absent on both days, but last week with less wind (and more sun) it was out and about performing its manoeuvres most days.
