Probably one of the most productive days I've had in this area. No particular "stand-out" birds just a good number of species.
Along Eyes Lane from the gas pipe compound to Red Bridge I counted 8 singing Whitethroat, 1 Lesser Whitethroat, several Reed and Sedge Warbler, 2 Wheatear, 12 Swifts and lots of Yellowhammer and Reed Bunting. A Common Tern was fishing along the canal and again several Reed and Sedge Warbler were present.
Full list of species: Blackbird, Blackcap, Black-headed Gull, Blue Tit, Buzzard (2), Canada Goose, Carrion Crow, Chaffinch, Chiffchaff, Coal Tit, Common Tern, Coot, Dunnock, Feral Pigeon, Goldcrest, Goldfinch, Great Spotted Woodpecker, Great Tit, Grey Heron, Grey Wagtail, Herring Gull, House Sparrow, Jackdaw, Kestrel, Lapwing, Lesser Black-backed Gull, Lesser Whitethroat, Linnet, Magpie, Mallard (incl. several chicks), Meadow Pipit, Mistle Thrush, Moorhen, Nuthatch, Oystercatcher, Pheasant, Pied Wagtail (incl. 1 "alba"), Red-legged Partridge, Redshank, Reed Bunting, Reed Warbler, Robin, Sedge Warbler, Shelduck (6), Skylark, Song Thrush, Starling, Stock Dove, Swallow, Swift, Tree Sparrow, Wheatear, Whitethroat, Willow Warbler, Woodpigeon, Wren, Yellowhammer.

You seem to have missed Reed Warbler off your full list, Paul.
