Re: White Coppice afternoon walk
A walk later on (6.00 to 8.00pm) yielded a red-legged partridge initially up in the quarry (Black Coppice) and then worked its way round the moor towards Brinscall calling all the time. Other than several willow warblers, at least 2 kestrels in the quarry, 4 buzzards overhead (1 mobbed by a crow) and a noisy mistle thrush it was relatively quiet. Red-legged partridge takes Chorley species to 71.
