Winter Hill and Georges Lane & Anglezarke Reservoir

Winter Hill: Sky lark singing, Meadow Pipits singing & displaying. 3 Pied Wagtail, Raven, Common Buzzard. 1Red Grouse, inintially on GM side, then flew to Lancashire side.

Georges Lane: At least 4 Lesser Redpoll including 2 singing males, Robin, Wren, Blackbird, Magpie carrying a 2ft long branch and displaying Meadow Pipits.

No migrants at either location.

Anglezarke Reservoir - north end - 4 Greylag Geese, 2 Feral Geese, Muscovy Duck, Mallard, GSW, Common Buzzard.

Red grouse takes me to 90 species in the CHorley Nats area
