Went in hope for some owl sightings , managed a little owl on finney lane but no sign of any barn owls , heard grey partridge calling from 2 different areas , 2 buzzard , 1 kestrel , a single cormorant was roosting in a willow over the main drainage ditch something ive nether seen on the mosses before , also 2 shellduck on a pond along the syd brook .
Little owl brings my chorley year list up to 90 species .
