2 new ticks today for my work list , GS Woodpecker seen this morning and this afternoon. 4 Canada Geese made a low fly over (2 seen last Friday feeding in field across from pub). Other birds of note today were Buzzard seen on and off all day, 30 Pinkfooted Geese over, Kestrel, pair of Nuthatch, pair of Greenfinch and Grey Wagtail payed another visit. I nipped to Runshaw Lane shops at dinner and there were a pair of Sparrowhawk over (saw 1 on way home low and fast over gardens on Wigan Rd just after 5pm).

Unfortunately ALL the trees are being cut down along the tops of the railway embankment by network rail (safety issues apparently). Today the trees were I see the Goldcrest were chopped

Work list = 38.
