Bramblings

Post by phil kirk » Thu Jan 10, 2019 9:49 am

2 Male and 1 Female Brambling in the garden this morning. Most unusual for us. We have probably only had them in the garden three or four times in 40 years. Maybe 20 Goldfinches and a single female Greenfunch also feeding on sunflower seeds.

Phil
I don't think you live too far from me and this is the first time in the last 33 years that I've seen bramblings in the garden. They were down every day for a two week period in December, and now every few days,
Phil
