Heapey Lodges - 2nd Dec.

Post by Bill Aspin »

A check of a couple of the Heapey Lodges for the Ring-necked Duck drew a blank, but a nice flock of 31 Tufted are present on the lodge (Heapey no2?) to the right of the causeway at SD610193.

A kingfisher was on the lodge to the left of the causeway (Heapey no3?). Also 10+ Fieldfare and 20+ Redwing.

If anyone could clarify whether these are indeed Heapey No2 and No3 lodges respectively, it would be appreciated.

Regards,

Bill Aspin.
