Evening Walk around Whittle - Thursday 9th August

A circular walk around the Whittle area, starting from the end of the canal spur in Town Lane. Hopefully, there will be a few bats around when we arrive back at the car park at the end of the walk.

Meet at 7.00 pm at the small car park at the end of the canal spur opposite the white house in Town Lane at Grid Ref SD588209

Please note that the ground is muddy / waterlogged in a few places, so suitable footwear is essential - definitely not one for trainers!!
There are a couple of tunnels - under the motorway etc, so a torch might be helpful.
